Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health condition still critical

The Medical Director of Medanta Hospital, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, issued a statement stating, “Sh. Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji remains in a critical condition and is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon. He is under the care of a comprehensive team of specialists.”

Upon Yadav’s transfer to the ICU on Sunday, the Samajwadi Party (SP) tweeted, “Our respected leader has been admitted to the ICU, and his condition is stable. We kindly request everyone not to visit the hospital. Regular updates on his health will be provided to all of you.”

According to a party official, Yadav, aged 82, was admitted to the hospital in the last week of August and has been undergoing treatment for the past few weeks. The official mentioned, “A couple of months ago, he was brought to the hospital for a routine check-up and was subsequently discharged. However, this afternoon, one of his vital signs deteriorated, leading to his transfer to the ICU for immediate treatment.”
